Penetrations & Roof Mounting Systems

Just about every roof seems to have a penetration, be it a vent pipe or a skylight. We have flashed many different sized penetrations and can offer guidance when involved in a complex project. The RANZ Roofing Code offers guidance on standard details.

Iconic Cladding instals Adlux trafficable skylights with associated flashings to ensure the roof does not leak and the skylights are safe.

Roof Mounting Systems puts professionalism in working ON a roof. Gone should be the days when cowboys built timber frames for walkways and heat pumps were thrown together on the cheap. There are well designed mounting systems made of aluminium that do not add additional holes in the roof. Modern roof mounting systems will last and be safer for the roofer and service engineer traversing the roof. PCBUs need to consider the consequences of poor unsafe access to plant and it’s now easy to fix. Iconic Cladding can assist with the installation of walkways, handrails and hatches. Services installers should install their own heat pump frames and goose neck ducts for the services to pass through the roof.
